You can also subscribe to our newsletter or to the Telegram channel to receive real-time updates during the event.
Getting there
Avoid coming by car
Commit will take place on April 19th and 20th at the CEU San Pablo University, Montepríncipe Campus (Boadilla del Monte, Madrid). Parking, especially on Friday, is limited, so we recommend using public transportation, buses, or the shuttles we provide for free from and to Madrid (Ventura Rodríguez, near Plaza de España).
Shuttles schedule:
Friday 19
From Ventura Rodríguez (Calle de los Mártires de Alcalá, 4) to Commit. Departures at: 8:00, 8:15, 8:30, 8:45. From Commit to Ventura Rodríguez. Departures at: 19:00, 20:00, 20:30, 21:00.
Saturday 20
From Ventura Rodríguez (Calle de los Mártires de Alcalá, 4) to Commit. Departures at: 9:15, 9:20, 10:00.
From Commit to Ventura Rodríguez. Departures at: 18:30, 19:00, 19:30.
Buses will depart from here: Calle de los Mártires de Alcalá, 4
The bus has 54 seats, belongs to the Chapín company, and will have the name of Commit written on a signboard. In case the seats are full, we recommend taking metro line 10 from Plaza de España to Colonia Jardín, and then Metro Ligero ML3 from there.
Registration
Registration will be open throughout the event
Registration will be open throughout the event. On Friday, April 19th, registration begins at 8:00 am in the main hall of the building. Doors will open at 9:00 am on Saturday.
You must bring your ticket, and if you have a student or unemployed ticket, you must prove this status at the time of purchase or during the event dates.
Registration will remain open both days at any time at the main hall information point. If you register on Friday, you won't need to register again on Saturday. During registration, you'll receive a badge. You must wear it immediately and not remove it until Commit ends on Saturday. You'll need to show it to enter the rooms. Without it, you won't be able to enter any talks, and you'll lose access to coffee breaks and meals. If you want to use the same ticket for different people on different days, please inform the information desk before leaving the event, and we'll take care of it.
Cloakroom
The cloakroom will be located on the -1 floor and will be indicated with a Cloakroom sign. It will open at 10:00 am on Friday and at 9:30 am on Saturday. You can leave coats and luggage there. Please note that, although continuously monitored, neither Commit nor the University are responsible for your belongings. On Saturday, you can pick up your Commit t-shirt in the cloakroom area.
Nursing Room
We'll have a room equipped for parents to be with their little ones and take a break from the talks. It's called the Nursing Room and is located on the first floor. Please inquire at the information point.
⏰ Schedule
We'll kick off on Friday at 9:00 am with the welcome ceremony in Track 1. During the welcome, we'll provide important information about the event. Talks in Track 1, 2 and 3 will be recorded and published later on our YouTube channel. There will be signs indicating the tracks, but colored lines on the floor will help you find the rooms more easily.
💼 Stands of sponsors
Remember that our sponsors are on the lookout for talent. You'll find them in the main hall and in the area in front of Track 3.
Coffees and meals
The coffees and meals for both days will be served in the sports pavilion, the red-roofed building outside the school. It will be indicated by signs, but we'll explain how to get there during the keynote. There will be vegan, vegetarian, gluten-free, and lactose-free options.
We recommend bringing your own food if you have any allergies.
Note: apart from meals, we won't provide water bottles. We're trying to reduce plastic consumption, so we'll have water dispensers, but you'll need to bring your own bottle or refillable container. There will be some paper cups available if you forget, but they will be limited.
📅 Have your agenda ready?
You can attend any talk or open space without prior registration until full capacity is reached. We'll record the talks in Track 1, 2 and 3.
Note that there won't be a printed paper agenda or welcome bags. To limit waste generation, there won't be a paper agenda or welcome bags.
If you need to keep the swag, stickers, or whatever you get during Commit, bring your own bag or backpack. Always check the agenda on our website before attending a talk, as it may have changed at the last minute.
Any changes will be announced on our Twitter account and under the hashtag #commitconf, as well as on our Telegram channel.
What If I Can't Make It at the Last Minute?
You can transfer your ticket. If you can't come, you can transfer your ticket to another person, but you must edit the attendee information in Koliseo with the new person's information. Access your Koliseo profile, edit the data, and then pass the ticket on to the other person.
Watch your belongings
Be careful. Events can attract people looking to steal laptops, phones, or other belongings. We'll have security personnel, but it's better to be safe.
Please don't forget to read our Code of Conduct before coming to Commit. If you see or hear anything that violates it during the event, you can speak to the organization or email us at info@commit-conf.com
For anything you need, there will be plenty of volunteers available (you'll recognize them by their black t-shirts with the Commit logo), and whenever you need assistance, someone will be there to help you at the information point in the main hall.
Looking forward to seeing you soon!
